Review=In 2020, boxing is no longer fought by humans, but they have been replaced by robots. The former boxer Charlie Kenton drives his truck to promote fights with his robot Ambush. When he has just lost a fight, he is summoned to a hearing and forced to take care of his unknown eleven year-old son Max Kenton since his mother has passed away. Charlie loses another fight with the Noisy Boy robot that his girlfriend Bailey Tallet has just bought and he goes with Max to a junkyard to collect parts of robots to build a new one. However, Max finds an old sparring robot named Atom and Charlie teaches him how to box. Atom becomes a winner and Max and Charlie become closer to each other. However, Charlie has an agreement to deliver Max to his aunt and her wealthy husband / directed by=Shawn Levy / 2011 / scores=282864 vote / / India

The story is touching, the action incredibly exciting. Plus there are some really funny moments. High entertainment value. Powerful performances by Hugh Jackman, who is an incredibly versatile actor. Dakota Goyo who plays his stubborn, eleven-year-old son easily holds his own and, to me, was a surprisingly strong character in the story. You will surely fall in love with this little handsome fella. The robots were fantastic and the ending, to me, was foreseeable, but the way it was done will keep you at the edge of your seat for sure. I think this movie deserves a couple of awards! It is a MUST SEE.

Charlie uses that money to buy an expensive robot. But they lose. Then at a junk yard they find a training bot called Atom. Atom wins a bunch then they go to the big league robo fighting and win again. Then they challenge Zeus who's the best robo fighter at the time. I wont give any more away. if your a fan of robot movies then this is one for you.

Horrendous story (another butchering of a Richard Matheson work) corny acting, quite good effects, atrocious sweeping camera work and extremely dull direction.
It saddens me that Hollywood puts so much effort and money into making great looking films with no heart and no story. There is so much great Sci-Fi material out there yet they insist on excising all the great stuff to make glossy turds that poisons the next film that comes along because we're the idiots that keep paying money to see this crap.
